Get ready to laugh your socks off as Melchester welcomes some of the finest comedy talent from across the UK and beyond. From standup to improv, you can enjoy a of packed programme of rib-tickling performances, featuring award-winners from TV's Live at the Apollo, as well as direct transfers from the Edinburgh Fringe and local rising stars. There'll also be an open mic night for budding comedians to get in on the act.

The Festival takes place in and around the Quorum Arts Centre, with street theatre and circus skills performances in front of the venue during the day. BBC Radio 4 will be broadcasting live from the Festival on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 November.
